The Ongoing US and Mexico Border Crisis
In present day America, many conflicts have been brought back to life due to new administration and nationwide issues occurring. One problem we face that many Americans feel very strongly about is our countries border security and immigration policies. Some feel that immigrants and refugees trying to enter our country should not be allowed in. While arguments from both sides have valid points, many can agree that the treatment immigrants face while imprisoned at the border can be described as morally deplorable. With many of the refugees being families with children fleeing from areas of violent crime, separation of families will occur frequently. Children are held in large camps of many other refugee children awaiting any sort of hope about the rest of their families. With many other ways to solve the problem of illegal immigration, this concept is seen by many as inhumane and unnecessary.
